A high-dose, 100% soy-free formulation of naturally sourced vitamin K2 (MK-7) formulated for optimal bone, nerve, and heart health. This formula includes 160 mcg of vitamin K2 per serving. Additionally, MegaQuinone contains vitamin K1 and chelated minerals for absorption.
Why Vitamin K2?
Given the major health benefits, vitamin K2 is arguably the most important dietary supplement out there, primarily because it can’t be found in sufficient quantities in the average Western diet.
In the last 40 years, researchers have realized that vitamin K2 is responsible for supporting vitamin K-dependent proteins (VKDPs), such as osteocalcin and matrix Gla-protein. When fully carboxylated, osteocalcin attracts calcium into the bones and teeth.
Dosing Instructions
For people aged 5+, it is recommended that you take 1 capsule per day or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. This provides 160 mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-7, MenaquinGold, 100 mcg of vitamin K1 (83% RDI), and chelated minerals magnesium glycinate (36 mg) and zinc bisglycinate (15 mg).
These dosages have been clinically studied and shown to be effective and safe. The dose and form of the ingredients in MegaQuinone ensure adequate coverage across various populations. It's best to take this fat-soluble vitamin combination supplement with a meal or snack containing healthy fat to maximize absorption in the digestive tract.
